And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he
rested on the seventh
day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he
had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Of every clean beast thou shalt take to
thee by sevens,
the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and

fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:

never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
And the lean and the ill favoured kine did
eat up the first seven fat kine:
And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears

withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:
And the thin ears devoured the seven good
ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare
it to me.
The seven good
kine are seven years;
and the seven good
ears are seven years:
the dream is one.
And the seven thin
and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years;
and the seven empty
ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years
of famine.
Behold, there come seven years
of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:
And there shall arise after them seven years
of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the
famine shall consume the land;
Let Pharaoh do this, and let him
appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt
in the seven plenteous
years.
And that food shall be for store to the
land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of
Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.
And in the seven plenteous
years the earth brought forth by handfuls.
And he gathered up all the food of the seven years,
which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food
of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in
them is, and rested the seventh
day: wherefore the Lord blessed
the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six
years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen,
and with thy sheep: seven days
it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that
the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field
shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy
oliveyard.

handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

And that son that is priest in his
stead shall put them on seven days,
when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy

shalt thou consecrate them.

even before the vail.
And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times,
and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to
sanctify them.
And ye shall not go out of the door of
the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days,
until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days
shall he consecrate you.
Therefore shall ye abide at the door of
the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days,
and keep the charge of the Lord,
that ye die not: for so I am commanded.
Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be
unclean seven days;
according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
If the bright spot be white in the skin
of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be
not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:
And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be
at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut
him up seven days
more:
And the priest shall look on him again
the seventh
day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in
the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall
wash his clothes, and be clean.
But if the priest look on it, and,
behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin,
but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
But if the priest look on it, and,
behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the
other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the
skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
And if the priest look on the plague of
the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there
is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague
of the scall seven days:
And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and,
behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall
be not in sight deeper than the skin;
He shall be shaven, but the scall shall
he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven
days more:
And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and,
behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the
skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes,
and be clean.
And the priest shall look upon the
plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:
And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment,
either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made
of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
Then the priest shall command that they
wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
And he shall sprinkle upon him that is
to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times,
and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the
open field.
And he that is to be cleansed shall
wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that
he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry
abroad out of his tent seven days.
But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his
head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and
he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall
be clean.
And the priest shall dip his right
finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with
his finger seven times
before the Lord:
And the priest shall sprinkle with his
right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times
before theLord:
Then the priest shall go out of the
house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:
And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague
be spread in the walls of the house;
And he shall take the cedar wood, and
the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of
the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:
And when he that hath an issue is
cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days
for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water,
and shall be clean.
And if a woman have an issue, and her
issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days:
and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
And if any man lie with her at all, and
her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days;
and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.
But if she be cleansed of her issue,
then she shall number to herself seven days,
and after that she shall be clean.
And he shall take of the blood of the
bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and
before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon
it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the
uncleanness of the children of Israel.
And this shall be a statute for ever
unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall
afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own
country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat,
is brought forth, then it shall be seven days
under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for
an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation;
ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
And on the fifteenth day of the same
month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days
ye must eat unleavened bread.
But ye shall offer an offering made by
fire unto the Lord seven days:
in the seventh
day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
And ye shall count unto you from the
morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave
offering; seven sabbaths
shall be complete:
Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall
offer a new meat offering unto the Lord.
And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs
without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they
shall be for a burnt offering unto the Lord,
with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by
fire, of sweet savour unto the Lord.
Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye
have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it
shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and
offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days
unto the Lord.

ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation
unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no
servile work therein.
Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the
land, ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days:
on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
And ye shall take you on the first day
the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick
trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.
And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days
in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall
celebrate it in the seventh
month.
Ye shall dwell in booths seven days;
all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a
sabbath for the Lord:
thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
And thou shalt number seven sabbaths
of years unto thee, seven times seven years;
and the space of the seven sabbaths
of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of
the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the
trumpet sound throughout all your land.
And if ye shall say, What shall we eat
the seventh
year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
And if ye will not yet for all this
hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times
more for your sins.
And if ye walk contrary unto me, and
will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times
more plagues upon you according to your sins.
Then will I also walk contrary unto
you, and will punish you yet seven times
for your sins.
Then I will walk contrary unto you also
in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times
for your sins.
And if any man die very suddenly by
him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his
head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When
thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps
shall give light over against the candlestick.
And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days:
and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.
And they ascended by the south, and
came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak,
were. (Now Hebron was built seven years
before Zoan in Egypt.)
And Eleazar the priest shall take of
her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the
tabernacle of the congregation seven times:
He that toucheth the dead body of any
man shall be unclean seven days.
He shall purify himself with it on the
third day, and on the seventh
day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
This is the law, when a man dieth in a
tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be
unclean seven days.
And whosoever toucheth one that is
slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a
grave, shall be unclean seven days.
And the clean person shall sprinkle
upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall
purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be
clean at even.
And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me
here seven altars,
and prepare me here seven oxen
and seven rams.
And God met Balaam: and he said unto
him, I have prepared seven altars,
and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.
And he brought him into the field of
Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars,

After this manner ye shall offer daily,
throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a
sweet savour unto the Lord:
it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink
offering.
And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall
do no servile work.
But ye shall offer the burnt offering
for a sweet savour unto the Lord;
two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs
of the first year;

sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs
of the first year without blemish:
And do ye abide without the camp seven days:
whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify
both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.
And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye
shall come into the camp.
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou,

At the end of every seven years
thou shalt make a release.
Beware that there be not a thought in
thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh
year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor
brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord
against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or
an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.

from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.

And Moses commanded them, saying, At

in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,

shall bear before the ark seven trumpets
of rams' horns: and the seventh
day ye shall compass the city seven times,
and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
And Joshua the son of Nun called the
priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests
bear seven trumpets
of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord.
And it came to pass, when Joshua had
spoken unto the people, that the seven priests
bearing the seven trumpets
of rams' horns passed on before the Lord, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the
covenant of the Lord followed
them.

of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually, and blew with the trumpets:
and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the Lord, the priests going on, and blowing with the
trumpets.
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of
the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times:
only on that day they compassed the city seven times.
And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets,
Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city.
And there remained among the children
of Israel seven tribes,
which had not yet received their inheritance.
And they shall divide it into seven parts:
Judah shall abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Joseph shall
abide in their coasts on the north.
Ye shall therefore describe the land
into seven parts,
and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here
before the Lord our
God.
And the men went and passed through the
land, and described it by cities into seven parts
in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.
And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of
Dan according to their families.
And the children of Israel did evil in
the sight of theLord:
and the Lord delivered
them into the hand of Midian seven years.
And it came to pass the same night,
that the Lord said
unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years
old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the
grove that is by it:
And he had thirty sons, and thirty
daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for
his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.
And Samson said unto them, I will now
put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days
of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty
change of garments:
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice
thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy
father's house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?
And she wept before him the seven days,
while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon
him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people.
And the men of the city said unto him
on the seventh
day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger
than a lion? and he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had
not found out my riddle.
And Samson said unto her, If they bind
me with seven green
withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
Then the lords of the Philistines
brought up to her seven green
withs which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.
And Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto
thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be
bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks
of my head with the web.
And she made him sleep upon her knees;
and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven
locks of his head; and she began to
afflict him, and his strength went from him.
And the ark of the Lord was in the country of the Philistines seven months.
And thou shalt go down before me to
Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and
to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days
shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
And the elders of Jabesh said unto him,
Give us seven days'
respite, that we may send messengers unto all the coasts of Israel: and then,
if there be no man to save us, we will come out to thee.
And he tarried seven days,
according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to
Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
And they took their bones, and buried
them under a tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days.
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of
David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while
the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our
voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?
Let seven men
of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the Lord in Gibeah of Saul, whom the Lord did choose. And the king said, I will give them.
And he delivered them into the hands of
the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the Lord: and they fell all seven together,
and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the
beginning of barley harvest.
So Gad came to David, and told him, and
said unto him, Shall seven years
of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before
thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence
in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent
me.
And the days that David reigned over
Israel were forty years: seven years
reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
The nethermost chamber was five cubits
broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven
cubits broad: for without in the wall
of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be
fastened in the walls of the house.
And in the eleventh year, in the month
Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts
thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years
in building it.
And nets of checker work, and wreaths
of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for
the one chapiter, and seven for
the other chapiter.
And all the men of Israel assembled
themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
And at that time Solomon held a feast,
and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath
unto the river of Egypt, before the Lord our God, seven days
and seven days,
even fourteen days.
In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days
in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to
the Philistines.
And said to his servant, Go up now,
look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing.
And he said, Go again seven times.
And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a
little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto
Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.

house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child

And Elisha sent a messenger unto him,

Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times
in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose

forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.
In the seventh year of Jehu Jehoash began to reign; and forty
years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zibiah of Beersheba.
In the thirty and seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the
son of Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned sixteen years.
In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah
son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
And it came to pass in the fourth year
of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh
year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria
came up against Samaria, and besieged it.
And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year
of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard,
a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:
But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the
son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote
Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at Mizpah.
And their brethren, which were in their

the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.
And in the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the
captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of
Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and
Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him.

goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for
Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the
altar of the Lord.
And the children of Israel that were
present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days
with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the Lord day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the Lord.
And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all
the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the Lord: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days,
offering peace offerings, and making confession to the Lord God of their fathers.
And the whole assembly took counsel to
keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days
with gladness.
In the third month they began to lay
the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
And the children of Israel that were
present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto
the Lord.
But the foundation of the temple of the Lord was not yet laid.
And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days
with joy: for the Lord had
made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to
strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
And there went up some of the children
of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the
porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of
Artaxerxes the king.
And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth
month, which was in the seventh
year of the king.
Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king,
and of his seven counsellors, to enquire concerning Judah and
Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine hand;
So the priests, and the Levites, and
the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and
all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their
cities.
And Ezra the priest brought the law
before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with
understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
And they found written in the law which
the Lord had
commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the

month:
Also day by day, from the first day
unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the

and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.
And if the people of the land bring
ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of
them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
And when these days were expired, the
king made a feast unto all the people that were present in Shushan the palace,
both unto great and small, seven days,
in the court of the garden of the king's palace;
On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with
wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and
Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of
Ahasuerus the king,
And the next unto him was Carshena,
Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes
of Persia and Media, which saw the king's face, and which sat the first in the
kingdom;)
And the maiden pleased him, and she
obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification,
with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens,
which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her
and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus
into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
Then were the king's scribes called at
that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and
twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai

continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers
those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months
shall they search.
And their windows, and their arches,
and their palm trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward
the east; and they went up unto it by seven

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury,
and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego:
therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times
more than it was wont to be heated.
Let his heart be changed from man's,
and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times
pass over him.
And whereas the king saw a watcher and

And this man shall be the peace, when

month, came the word of the Lord by
the prophet Haggai, saying,
For behold the stone that I have laid

For who hath despised the day of small
things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of

they are the eyes of theLord,

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the
fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the
tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts;
therefore love the truth and peace.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other
spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the
last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto
this wicked generation.
And Jesus saith unto them, How many

The mystery of the seven stars
which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden
candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches:

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus
write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars
in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden
candlesticks;

Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits
of God, and the seven stars;
I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
And out of the throne proceeded

had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven
saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven
thunders uttered, and write them not.
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery
of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in
heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord,
and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
And there appeared another wonder in
heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads
and ten horns, and seven crowns
upon his heads.
And I stood upon the sand of the sea,
and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads
and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of
blasphemy.
And I saw another sign in heaven, great
and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last
plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
And the seven angels
came out of the temple, having the seven plagues,
clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden
girdles.
And one of the four beasts gave unto
the seven angels
seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth
for ever and ever.
And the temple was filled with smoke
from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into
the temple, till the seven plagues
of the sevenangels
were fulfilled.
And I heard a great voice out of the
temple saying to the seven angels,
Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and
there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying,
It is done.
And there came one of the seven angels
which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come
hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon
many waters:
So he carried me away in the spirit
into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full
of names of blasphemy, having seven heads
and ten horns.
And the angel said unto me, Wherefore
didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast
that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads
and ten horns.
And here is the mind which hath wisdom.
The seven heads
are seven mountains,
on which the woman sitteth.
And there are seven kings:
five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh,
he must continue a short space.
And the beast that was, and is not,
even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
And there came unto me one of the seven angels
which had the seven vials
full of the seven last
plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride,
the Lamb's wife.
The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth,
sardius; the seventh,
chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus;
the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
